LIttle Lamb Earwarmer

Are you ready for today's "Free Pattern Friday?" Are you ready for the cutest thing you've ever seen?

The Little Lamb Earwarmer is perfect for Easter and Spring Pictures. Or just to look cute. Pattern for Toddler and Child size is below. For sizes Infant through Adult, along with a picture tutorial of the loop stitch, check out the pattern on Ravelry here! :)

Special Notes:
Follow instructions for desired sizes as indication
Ear Warmer is worked in the round
Directions in ** should be repeated the number of times indicated
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR GAUGE!! 

Gauge: 
8 rows x 8 st = 2 in

Stitches Used:

Foundation Single Crochet (Fsc)
Single Crochet (sc)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Chain (ch)
Loop Stitch

What you'll need:

- WW yarn (in two colors)
- J hook
- Tapestry needle

Toddler size: (16” circ)
R1: Fsc 64 join to first st with sl st- careful not to twist! Ch 1 turn.
 R2-10: ch1, Loop stitch in each st around. Join.
R11: Change color to black. Ch 1, sc around. Join and finish off.
Reattach black yarn to other side (the fsc side). Sc around. Join and fasten off.
Continue to Ears.

Child: (18” circ)
 R1: Fsc 72 join to first st with sl st- careful not to twist! Ch 1 turn
R2-11: ch1, Loop stitch in each st around. Join.
R12: Change color to black. Ch 1, sc around. Join and finish off.
Reattach black yarn to other side (the fsc side). Sc around. Join and fasten off.
Continue to Ears.

Ears: (Make 2)

Using black yarn (or contrast color), ch 7
R1: turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 4. Hdc in next st. 4 hdc in last st. Continuing along back of chain, hdc next st, sc next 4. Join with sl st to 1st ch.
R2: ch 1, hdc next 5 st. 2 dc in next 4 st, hdc last 5. Join with sl st to ch1.
R3: ch 1, sc next 5 st, **2hdc next st, hdc next** rpt 3x (for a total of 4). Sc last 5. Join with sl st to first ch. Fasten off

Finishing:
         Sew Ears on to headband about 4 inches apart.

         Weave in all ends.
