I hope you are enjoying this as much as I enjoyed creating it! Here is your final instructions to complete your mystery pattern!
(Remember you are working in the round, with a G hook and WW yarn)
R1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, placing 3 st in last chain. Turn piece 180 degrees so you are working along the back of your starting chain. sc next 8, 2sc in last st (you do not need to join. Stitch markers would be helpful!) You are now working in the round (20 st)
R2: 2 sc in first st, sc next 7 st, 2sc in next 3 st, sc next 7, 2 sc in last 2 st (26)
R3: sc in next st, 2 sc in next, sc in next 8, (2sc in next st, sc in next) 3x, sc in next 7 st, (2sc, sc) 2x (32)
R4-6: sc in each st around (32)
R7: sc next 20 st, (2sc, sc) 6x (38)
R8: sc next 20 st, (2sc, sc next 2) 6x (44)
R9-13: sc in each st around (44)
R14: **sc2tog, sc next 2 st** around, sc2tog over last 2 st (33)
(This would be a good time to add safety eyes, embroider on a nose and stuff)
R15: **sc2tog, sc** around, sc in last (22)
R16: **sc2tog, sc** around, sc last st (15)
R17-18: sc2tog. (It won't work out evenly per row as you have an odd number of stitches. continue to sc2tog until you have about 3-4 st left)
f/o, leaving long tail. Weave through last few stitches and pull tight.
Ears: (Make 2)
Ch 6, hdc in second ch from hook, and next st, sc next 2, (sl st, ch 1, sl st) in last st. Turn pieces 180 degrees and continue along back of starting chain. Sc next 2, hdc last 2 st. f/o leaving a long tail to sew to head.
Those are all your pieces! If you feel like you've figured it out, go ahead and sew pieces together. Otherwise, stay tuned for sewing instructions!
