R2: 2sc in each st (12) (place stitch marker)
R3: 2sc in next, sc in next st** rpt around (18)
R4: 2sc in next st, sc in next 2 st** rpt around (24)
R5: 2sc in next st, sc in next 3 st** rpt around (30)
R6: 2sc in next st, sc in next 4 st** rpt around (36)
R7-12: sc in each st around (36)
R8: sc2tog, sc in next 7 (32)
R9: sc in each st around (32)
R10: sc2tog, sc in next 6 (28)
R11-15: sc in each st around (28)
R16: sc2tog, sc in next 5 (24)
R17: sc2tog, sc in next 2 (18)
R18: sc2tog, sc in next st (12)
R19: sc2tog around (6)

Ch 8, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and across.

Cut 3 pieces about 3 in. each. Fold in half. Insert hook into end of "tail" (the part that doesn't have the long tail), grab the loop made from your folded pieces and pull them partway through. While hook is still in loops, grab loose ends of the pieces and pull them through the loop. Pull tight.
